Aldo or Edgar

Can someone please explain to me how Aldo doesn't deserve an immediate rematch but Weidman does? I mean Edgar is a great fighter and all but Jose is the greatest FW on the division's history.

How could anyone justify him not getting the rematch in the age where every champ gets an instant rematch...

Because of timing. Edgar is waiting for his next opponent. Rockhold doesn't really have anyone else to face since Romero failed his test. Also, Aldo went to sleep in 13 seconds...
