Aldo mcgregor faceoff history

Does anyone know how many faceoffs these guys had? was it the most that ever was?
and what was the purpose ? I know PR but there are other ways aswell.

I doubt anyone will take time out of their day to count them for you, TS. Suffice it to say, it probably was record-setting.
The purpose was, of course, promotion, and it worked.
