You are giving him way to much credit by assuming that he intends to ever defend the FW title. I believe he will never cut to 145 again.

I wouldn't be shocked if this ended up being the case. I won't be as bold to claim it, cause another loss to diaz may leave him with dwindling options outside of 145. But yeah, it's likely.

He doesn't need protection from Aldo. And I think Frankie is gonna win. So if he does fight at Fw, then it is not really protection
