Aldo didn’t price himself out (asking for $2 mill) when told to fight Frankie like DJ is doing w/ TJ

Yet Aldo kept fighting back and never gave up. At least he didn't tap to strikes in less than a minute like somebody else

What does GSP have to do with this thread or my comment? Lol

All TJ has to do to get a crack at 125 gold is win ONE contender fight at 125.

If the division is as shallow as sherdog thinks it is, should be a cakewalk for TJ.

Yeah, he did say "anytime, anywhere" but Aldo would have had to fight in less than 2 weeks notice at UFC 196. That is not much time at all to train and get in shape to fight a guy who had a full camp.

It was even more unreasonable when GSP put the MW division in limbo for all of 2017 as he needed an entire year to gain weight to fight the cherry picked one eyed 38 year old Bisping.
He was already preparing for Conor for a year, and just recently leading up to that possible rematch that he denied.
He ate his words and that's it.

lol I don't even wanna talk about DJ anymore if he seriously ducks that TJ fight.
He's making himself irrelevant and unlikeable, I actually liked that dude before this whole shitshow.

And you're right, great champions like Aldo wouldn't even think about refusing a challenge at their own weight-class.

People are making fun of Aldo for losing to Max? When Aldo was in his 15th year of fighting? He took that beating like a man and kept trying to fight back. Funny how people praise GSP but shit on Aldo when he was undefeated for 10 years and never gave up that easy.

Yeah, he did but I'm sure he probably regrets it now. Aldo took the risks and gave great fighters like Edgar and Mendes rematches before so he probably thought one day he would get another chance at Conor. I am sure his coaches talked him out of taking a fight on two weeks notice, where another KO loss could have sent his career tumbling down even further.

And this was literally only a few months after the brutal KO in December. The brain needs time to rest. I doubt he thought his rematch opportunity would come so quick and that it would be the last chance he would ever get.

it was 9 days notice at 155 with no belt on the line. think about it
he was also going to fight frankie on short notice, at 165 for a new belt in a new division. Was frankie ducking too?

Hahahaha

Connor would’ve never given him that rematch, left the division immediately and the sport soon after

I will not accept any other fight other than a title shot. My only exception would be fighting The Notorious, at any time, anywhere. Since he is scared and knows I'm gonna win, it doesn't have to be a title fight against him. Keep my belt, but I want to whoop your ass anywhere. - Waldo

lol

dj never beat a ufc champion

FACT

wise decision to duck tj

That's crazy but true. I just looked at his career record and he has the most padded resume of any current male UFC champion.

Wasn't this proposed fight to be at 155lbs? And non-title? And on two week notice?

I think Aldo would have taken that fight if the belt was on the line. No question about it. When he said "anytime anywhere" i'm quit sure he ment the weight class he always fights in. But i'm not suprised there is people that have a hard time to think like that. For an example there's a hole video section about stupid people on Youtube. ;)

Connor will never take a fight and risk lose the belt. It will never fucking happen! That's wy there's talk frome him about a 165 division now. Beacuse he will never come back to 55 again beacuse he's so fucking terrified of losing . He's the worst fraud, fake, prostitute (can't name them all because it will take forever) that have entered the MMA scene. The fans he have that believes all the stupid shit that leaves the mouth frome the actor is even more retarded then the idiot himself...

SORRY for bad spelling and so on... English is not my language of choice but i think it's readable.

Not every fighter whores ito for money. It used to not be as blatant as it has been the last few years

not an aldo nut hugger thanks tho. But if you don't understand why his manager turned down the fight for him when it was with 10 days notice and no belt on the line you're to retarded to even have a discussion with. Thanks tho champ go sniff more glue

anytime anywhere my nik

Conor > Aldo > DJ

I knew DJ would never take the TJ fight. He chose to fight a no name instead of guaranteed big money, big hyped entertaining fight.
