Firstly I would like to thank both Nate and Connor for an excellent fight. Nate should get that money fight with Lawler and Connor should look at this at a vital lesson. He needs to prepare his body the right way if he wants to move up instead of changing his mind with 10 days left and just eating 2 breakfast's. He also needs to come in with a game plan instead of the belief that he can take out every fighter within the first round. And lastly he should always conserve his energy for the full 5 rounds as the higher he fights the more punishment his opponents can take. Lets not forget he is only 27 and he can learn a lot from this with out taking too much damage to his reputation.

Now that its obvious that Connor is going to defend his title the UFC have a little problem in that they have 2 ex champs both deserving to fight for the belt. As LW is lacking contenders it makes sense to have one of them move up and fight RDA while the other fights Connor. So if you had to choose, which way would it be?

I personally would have Connor fight Edgar and Aldo fight RDA as this way:

1) Its not an immediate rematch (yawn).
2) Connor / Aldo rematch would be a lot easier to sell if Aldo beats RDA and becomes a 2 division champ.
3) Connor would prove his doubters wrong by beating his worst match up stylistically.
4) Aldo always stated he wanted to move up and be a 2 time champ.

I would add a poll but I don't know how.

Think khabib or Ferguson winner should be fighting RDA next...

Pretty absurd if it's anyone other than these two given that Conor mcg is pretty obviously not a top lightweight...

It makes sense to have a non-champion in the FW division move up and fight the LW champion? WTF are you talking about? How about one of Edgar/Aldo vs. Conor and the other vs Holloway in a no1 contenders match instead.
