I guess we'll have to wait for 35 yo past prime Tate vs 40 yo Evinger in Invicta lol. Or Eye vs Evinger once she comes back after a year, loses and gets cut.

I know that but big deal, Pennington may have a bad record but she's ranked top 10 now and went to a split decision with Holm even knocking Holm down, she's a good striker with decent grappling.

The UFC has certainly let worse than Evinger into the UFC - Duke, Pegatron anyone? Evinger could probably beat current Shadowboxing Queen Eye out of the ones I listed at least lol.

Evinger, when she has her head in the game, can scrap. Trailer-park chic is nasty. And her long-standing feud with Miesha can provide a storyline.

and right before her 9 fight win streak she lost 2 fights to Alexis Davis and 1 to McMann. Her record is unimpressive and her last fight was against a woman with a 10-6 record who like Evinger wasn't even good enough to qualify for the TUF show, getting subbed by Shayna Baszler.

Evinger wouldn't even be top 10 in the UFC and she knows it. She can be a champion in Invicta.

If this was the Zuffa era, Alexa would have a backstage interview, a pre-fight promo video and after fight press conference. But Ari needs money now so they cut corners. All I'm saying is, the good people in the UFC was replaced with numbskulls.
