Fight Analysis

Peggy Morgan is awful. She throws weak, non technical punches, she has very little takedown offense and when she ends up on top, which happens when you fight bad competition and the opponent falls and drags you on top of them, she has terrible ground and pound. She was battered repeatedly by Jessamyn Duke, who has repeatedly gotten destroyed in striking in the UFC. So the question becomes is Irene Aldana as bad as Peggy Morgan, or is she less bad.

So I watched some video of Aldana and I was super impressed in her loss to Pacheco. First of all, Pacheco is a beast, she needs to be in the UFC, because if she were she would blast almost all of their female fighters. And what I saw in that video was Aldana has decent striking, she has some wrestling and that Morgan has nothing for her. I

However this time she was fighting an experienced striker, so it didn't work.
