Miesha is one of the most strong willed fighters in the UFC, from both women and men, so it perplexes me as to why she would then choose to invest time in seeing this mental coach in preparation for a fight against a solid striker.

its only the fact that everyone knows how tough Miesha is that her even mentioning this mental coach is percieved as anything other than weakness imo

she should have hired a boxing coach instead

what a fuckin' goof

Close your eyes miesha.Focus on my voice.Imagine a green park.Pool noodles.Imagine butts.Touch them.Let me touch yours.

She straight up quit, no more of this heart for days bullshit.

I think alarm bells went off when she started getting takedowns stuffed and kept getting that pretty face cracked.

She has just about the lowest fight IQ in MMA.

It wasnt even under her chin! She just gave up, like most woman do which is why its a freak show and shouldnt be on national television

Like I said in another thread. I should have listened to the big red flag in my head on the embedded episode when she said that she was just going to go chill on some jet skies on the fourth and watch fireworks, but instead I only paid attention to that big red ass

She looked like she had a broken nose and jaw before the submission. I knew she would have trouble early, but I hoped she could last long enough to let Nunes gas out. Meh. It happens.

The alarm should have started when she was booked to fight a powerful and accurate striker when she's always had a tendency to stop punches with her face.

She definitely seemed burnt out to me. Maybe all the media obligations had something to do with it. But chronic stress is a real factor. We've never seen Miesha fold like that before. The choke wasn't even under the neck. She just gave up.

athletes should have sports psychologists on their team, plus a bunch of other professionals, is normal

she looked nervous walking into the arena and octagon though imo

Once i saw hypnotist i got bad feeling

Nothing wrong with a mental coach, but when I saw she was going to marc savard for hypnosis therapy, that's when I changed my pick and chose Nunes as the fighter to win last night. I felt like Miesha was going to psyche herself out. Then when I saw her doing all that yelling on the way to the cage, I was sure of it.

She is always trying to improve and reinvent herself. That was not the reason she lost, she got caught. Miesha is on point with her attempts to improve
