This is good news. Now it's back to Trump and his 19 sexual assault victims and the Russian espionage investigation.

Cleanest, most transparent, most accomplished Administration. Trump's endorsement sealed the deal.

I don't think it means much beyond the GOP's loss of a Senate seat.
Alabama didn't vote Democrat as much as they voted against a :eek::eek::eek:phile, and they didn't vote against a :eek::eek::eek:phile by a large margin...

Does he have this seat for 6 years or just the remainder of Sessions term (2020)?

Doug ran a fantastic race an other Senators need to follow his lead.

I'm not sure Democrats can expect Alabama white people to elect a :eek::eek::eek:phile to run against them.

155 precincts left. Jones lead grows to nearly 12,000 votes!

Man, Trump stuck his old lady neck out and endorsed a racist :eek::eek::eek:, and all for nothing.

Sad!

You don’t think this has any ramifications?
this is Alabama..Democrats took Alabama..think about that.
Trump looks like a dumbass and he made himself look like an ass..he’s now directly tied to Roy Moore well into 2020..Roy is a big black eye for trump and trumps reputation.
[/facepalm]

It’s not rocket science. Someone posted “America did the right thing tonight”, Rematxh said “it’s not a national election.” That’s it.

What a monumental fuck up for the republicans. They had a 1% chance to lose that seat and they pulled it off. Hopefully both parties learn from this and quit nominating these polarizing blow hards.

Exit polls:

White men w/ college degree 64-32% Moore
White men no college degree: 81-16% Moore

White women w/ college degree: 54-43% Moore
White women no college degree: 74-24% Moore

145 precincts out. Jones lead back <10,000 votes.

Congrats to "political mastermind" Steve Bannon for losing an Alabama Senate seat to the Democrats in the year 2017.
