Crime Ahmaud Arbery shooting v3

Status
Not open for further replies.
The cop claimed he felt threatened AFTER Ahmaud asked him why he was being hassled. The cop claims veins were popping on Ahmaud.

Another cop shows up and tried to tase Arbery even though Ahmaud was complying.

Sounds like a cop who doesn't like being asked to justify his actions.

How did I know that when I got to the bottom of the article that it was going to mention that he was driving under a suspended license?

You’re bothering me for nothing,” Arbery said to Kanago, according to body camera footage. After Kanago told him he was looking for criminal activity, Arbery said “criminal activity? I’m in a fucking park. I work.”

The incident eventually ends with police allowing Arbery to leave, but forbidding him from driving his car because his driver’s license is suspended.

That’s not an argument.

Just because some other people do it, doesn’t make it right.

If a cop pulls you over for speeding, you can’t say “well, I saw other people speeding!”. Good luck with that.
No, but it disproves the notion that just because he was in the house he is automatically a thief like some were arguing earlier - unless you think all those shown entering were thieves too

Is there mainstream media confirming this?

Why is he wearing a winter coat when it is quite obvious that the weather conditions are not calling for one? I think it is pretty obvious that this guy is not all there mentally.

Arbery apparently has a history of being a thief, so...

This is the full video of Ahmaud Arbery's encounter with police in November 2017. The Guardian released an edited version today that omits the part where he threatens the police officer, saying:

“Bitch you hit me with that shit you gonna be fucked up”

The Guardian edited out 5 seconds of this in theirs. Those 5 seconds are from 3:05 - 3:10 of this video:

They did? I am shocked.

Guy is driving with no license and people are siding with him for being harassed. <45>

Do we even know if it Arbery? I compared the guy in the video to known pics of Arbery and can't tell. If it is him, is there a mainstream source confirming it? I googled and came up zero. The attorney for the Arbery family says Arbery was arrested for shoplifting in 2018, I wonder if that incident is what is featured in the above linked video?

What did you tag me for? To show me what a criminal this guy turned out to be?
He was arrested for shoplifting in 2018 and brought a gun to school in 2013. That does not make him a career criminal. Your comment "what a crimminal" gives the impression this guy was a repeat felon.

Just because people commit a crime does not mean they don't change. I had friends who shoplifted alcohol and other stuff and dealt drugs in high school but they stopped doing that later in life, except for buying and selling weed and shrooms which is nothing.

Wow. Unbelievable.

The threat he issues in this excised 5 seconds changes my evaluation of the police's conduct, completely.

Another thing Guardian left out (at 8:15 - 8:25 ) was when the cop tells him (as Ahmaud is entering his car) "Well, technically your license is suspended so technically you can't really drive the car." I suspect that that was not really such an issue for the cop personally but he had to say it for the record.

I mean at what point does one have to come to the conclusion that not only did this cop show restraint, but maybe he didn't actually do his job. Illegal parking, threatening police officer verbally and with physical bravado ( 3:05 - 3:10) , invalid driver's license (8:15 - 8:25), drug paraphernalia visible through window.

For anyone just seeing this for first time, here is the unedited video. The Guardian edited out where Ahmaud threated the police officer with physical violence. See 3:05 - 3:10 of this video:

The Daily Beast mentioned a shoplifting arrest almost two weeks ago but no details of it. Someone posted reference to it on the Arbery shooting Wikipedia page and it was deleted.

In post #289 I mention that the family lawyer says he was arrested for shoplifting in 2018, I don't if that is the same case as the video you posted.

Sister of Ahmaud Arbery’s alleged killer posted picture of his body to Snapchat

The sister of the man charged with gunning down Ahmaud Arbery said she posted pictures of the unarmed black jogger’s dead body online because she is “a true-crime fan,” according to a new report.

Lindsay McMichael, 30, admitted posting an unedited image of a blood-soaked Arbery lying on the street in Brunswick, Georgia, on Snapchat, but said she meant no harm, the Sun reported Monday.

“I had no nefarious or malicious intent when I posted that picture,” she told the outlet. “The thing is I’m a huge fan of true crime — I listen to four or five podcasts a week — I’m constantly watching that sort of thing.”

“It was more of a, ‘Holy s–t, I can’t believe this has happened,'” she added. “It was absolutely poor judgment.”

You know....even if you are a fan of criminal cases, posting a graphic picture of a recently deceased person lying in the street is very inconsiderate to the family.

Meaning that he's been arrested multiple times for shoplifting.

Why is he wearing a winter coat when it is quite obvious that the weather conditions are not calling for one? I think it is pretty obvious that this guy is not all there mentally.

And it looks like the same coat he was wearing in 2017 during the park encounter with police. Again with no shirt under it. Yeah he does appear to have some mental issues.

So its okay to harass and shot a guy because he have driven with out a license?
A fact the Mcmichaels did not know.

MSM News reports I have read do not say he was arrested multiple times.

I like how shoplifting somehow seems to justify killing him.
I hope the people in here are following the law 101% and never even jaywalk.
It seems to justify you getting shot.

He is clearly placed under arrest in that video, the bodycam date shows December 1st, 2017, and he's even wearing the same damn jacket he wore in the other bodycam video in the park.

Could it be possible he was arrested in Dec 2017 but indicted in 2018 , and when the lawyer for the family said he was arrested in 2018 , he meant to say indicted?
I did some quick googling (looked at search results for first 5 pages) and can't find anything.
