Bryan Barberena seized his short-notice opportunity against the highly touted Sage Northcutt at UFC on FOX 18, submitting the then-undefeated 19-year-old with an arm-triangle choke in the 2nd round of their main card contest. "Bam Bam" was the night's biggest betting underdog but he came away with the biggest win of his career. On Tuesday, UFC Brazil's Instagram account confirmed that Barberena will travel to Brazil to face undefeated prospect Warlley Alves on May 14th.

Wasn't aware there was already a thread. Mods delete

Would be pretty amusing if he hands two undefeated guys their first loss twice in a row

Damn... UFC really wanna punish Barbarena.

it's a big step up for him. Time too see what He's worth. Also, this card will (according to Maia interview) be a PPV instead of a Fight Night card, with Co-main Belfort vs Souza, Main Wurdum vs Stipe

Barbarena is a lightweight and they give him a welterweight fight. I know Sage was at welter but it was because of short notice

Warley is one of the best newcomers in the WW division, solid ground game, good stand-up, championship material.

This Warlley guy is probably the best TUF guy to ever come from Brazil.

This guy Brian is one that would best not say anything in the post fight interviews , IMO. He chalked up a solid win over Sage but came across as a massive toolbag afterwards.
