After banning transgenders, Trump says America worships GOD not GOVERNMENT

President Trump can voice out his religious opinions or thoughts but he needs to remember that there's more than 1 religion being practiced in the US and some people have no religion at all. Can't really make blanket statements like "everyone in the US worships (the Christian) God!" as per his tweet.

To you it may. Many Christians understand this though.

I just got off work RIP, lol. Do you work or sleep?

Joking, bro. And Christians have been told what to "understand". That's why I don't like organized religion. Critical thinking is beaten down. Question something and you will hear a verse.

I believe in a higher power, but it is very personal to me. How dare someone presume to know my "God".

How I wish humanity would give up on the collective insanity that is religious belief in superbeings that don't exist.

It's retarding progress

And people that believe in a glorious hereafter are dangerous.

Trump is just trolling the lefties because they absolutely hate Christianity. The very mention of the word has them foaming at the mouth. It is just more evidence that Lefties are pure evil.

It's an interesting attempt to rally his base, probably his most thoughtful tactic yet. While Trump himself is not a conservative or a practicing Christian, it appears some folks in his administration have gotten wise to the fact that his support stems largely from pushback against liberal movements during the Obama administration that weren't really rooted in Obama's policies. Its the right play here, since he's not getting anywhere banking on competence and clear policy vision.

What's the percentage of people who do? I'm going just assume it's a tad higher than the two or three examples you have.

America, and the world for that matter, worships God in one form or another. Accurate statement from Mr President. Atheists BTFO!

I think they just pick on christians because its the dominant religion, supposedly has people wiyh high IQs and yet they cannot seem to evolve past any form of hypocrisy. I hate all religions equally. They are useless.

I don't like the idea that we bend over backwards to accommodate certain minority groups like trans people who make up less than 1% of the population, but when it comes to the majority group that makes up to 70% of the population, we can't even allude to God. I agree with separation of Church and State, but people are making this to be a bigger deal than it is.

It's also amusing to see the implication that Trump is the first president in history to pander to people. What president hasn't thrown crumbs to dogs?

And people that believe in a glorious hereafter are dangerous.
Not necessarily at all.
My best friend isn't "dangerous" because he believes in Jesus and heaven and eternal salvation, etc.

It's so acceptable and supported by society that it's an intrinsic element of our cultural makeup.

It's not a simple thing and religious people are extraordinarily diverse.

Alternatively, it may be you that are useless, since you can't see what use they are when billions of others do.

What's more likely?

a) Badger67 is more intelligent, emotionally mature and has a greater sense of impartial judgment than literally the smartest people ever to live throughout history, or
b) Badger67 is signaling his affinity for one social group over another by claiming that religion is useless?

My desire to become a better man keeps growing.

God bless Trump.

Sherbro, if it took Donald "Grab 'em by the Pu$$y" Trump to get you to be a "better" man....

I'm praying for you.

Well now you know how we feel in Russia with those fucking clerics running the society.

One of the cornerstones of the Constitution is not letting a majority rule over the minority.

It's like all Trump supporters say fuck it, and fuck YOU if you don't agree.

So small minded and simple.
But letting minorities have a say has been nothing but a leftist wet dream for years now, giving us all manor of bullshit. Like this transgender nonsense, gay marriage and other deviances.

Ohhh the F word. That is serious. IS that as bad as the E word, or the Z word? Or perhaps the L word is worse? Also, why shouldn't he attack someone who attacks him? I am tired of republican presidents who just let people attack them with out fighting back.
Such language has its place, uttering it on a podium at a campaign rally that is televised is rather vulgar.
The point though , not saying the word , but how the right would have reacted if Obama had said it ; they would have said it shows Obama has a thuggish ghetto mentality.

Trump may be a changed man from 10 years ago. People do change strychnine. And it is possible that he's asked God to help change him. Especially possible if he's asking people to pray for him.

I for one welcome our new theocratic state.

The link is to this clip on Instagram.

Wherein he says:

And finally, we believe that family and faith, not government and bureaucracy, are the foundation of our society.

You’ve heard me say on the campaign trail, and I’ll say it again tonight: in America, we don’t worship government, we worship GOD.

Here are some of the responses to the Emperor’s declaration of a theocracy:

I just don’t see any downside to it.
