Andrade wants to fight for a title, but Miro and Omega are heels as is Andrade. Yes, I know Cody said heels don't matter anymore but I don't really give a damn what that idiot says!

He needs a feud that lasts several months until one of those champions lose the strap.

Brock Lesnar is a huge one. Taker to an extent, yes he talked but very few words - his biker gimmick he talked a lot. Kane before he unmasked. Great Muta was another big one. Yoko. Sabu.

he is literally a boy raised in the jungle
who tag teams with a dinosaur,
i don't expect him to be running his mouth out here like mjf.
this main event if anything could be the catalyst for him 'learning' to speak as he becomes a more involved and important part of the show.

amazing that as a wrestling fan you don't understand this.

All were heels and had managers doing the talking for them. Rarely do you see a face with a manager.
 
I still remember fans actually getting pissed off around 96-97 when guys started constantly cutting 10 minute long promos. There was a big narrative of "all they do in the WWF is talk now".

I still remember being a kid and people cut like 1 minute intense promos looking amped up and that was good enough. Hogan, Warrior, Road Warriors, Savage, all they needed was a good minute to hype you up.

i can mostly only remember face tag teams with a manager

I used to hate when Raw would start with like a 20-25 minute talking segment. This is wrestling pal. Get some people in the ring and entertain me!

Only face I remember having a manager was Bob Backlund (Arnold Skaaland), who actually was the one who cost Backlund the title to the Iron Sheik by throwing in the towel.

When tna started under the jarretts their mission statement was shut up and wrestle. Fans started chanting it whenever someone pickup a mic.

Albano and Rockin Robin would be one. I was discounting any face turns, just complicates things too much.
 
Watching DarkE and seeing Arn Jr. for the first time in the ring..

Brock Anderson coulda tightened up some and worked out his tanning before making his debut. Instead there’s this fairly green, bleached balding guy with a lumpy butter body on tanlined sausage legs.

Don’t know about this one.

Looks like he finished college, spent a few months in the Enterprise management trainee program and decided to give wrestling a shot.
