Edge and Christian doing their schtick for one last go around would be great. Way better than the Hardy’s bc the Hardy’s depend on in ring work and they are far worse than they used to be. E&C have always been over as character/promo guys first, and that never goes away.

I think Edge would be the best free agent AEW has ever signed.

I wouldn’t debut him on the Wembley show, but imagine the pop he’d get in Chicago if during the Darby/Luchasaurus match that he appears out of nowhere to spear Darby, then celebrates with Christian.

Gotta give them credit, it’s very well written. It was the most face reasoning to turn heel that I can remember. “I need to get back to my roots and I need you to help me.” He didn’t stab the audience in the back, he put trust in the wrong person. Now he doesn’t seem disingenuous afterwards and the audience can trust him. That’s good stuff

They rushed through weeks of storyline in like 10 minutes.
