What Will Be The Best Weekly AEW Show By The End Of The Year?

Apparently Collision in Toronto, the day before Forbidden Door has only sold 2,000 tickets, the next night Forbidden Door has sold 13,000 in the same arena.

Reading the Collision in Hamilton, Ontario the next week after has only sold 700 tickets so far.

Wonder if it's a case of people not knowing what the fuck Collision is. Cause all of the Dynamite/Rampage tapings are still selling like normal.

Or all the Canadian wrestlers are advertised for Dynamite. Punk, Rosa, and Miro are the main stars advertised for Collision

Maybe it's a case of Punk not being as big of a draw as he thinks he is. Tickets might sell better after the first episode though. We'll see I guess

The Collision posters for every city is the same generic poster that has MJF and Orange Cassidy front and center with a bunch of others like FTR, Miro, House of Black, Samoa Joe etc. surrounding them.

I wonder if it's just a case of people not knowing what to expect. All that's been said at all is "we have a new TV show and CM Punk is on it".

Casual fans who miss episodes, but still like AEW might not even know Collision exists.

I have tickets for the Collision in Toronto, and I'm not even sure if Punk is gonna be there. I'm completely unsure of what the show I will be attending is gonna be. Great news for me because I got seats fairly close to the stage, but I feel like I may just see an extension/lesser version of Forbidden Door, with guys who wont make it to the PPV, instead of a whole other show starring CM Punk. Especially with the previous Dynamite being in Chicago too, maybe Punk is just gonna be in Chicago and not bother with Forbidden Door weekend.

Mox vs. El Desperado is a great feud. Dope they're keeping Mox's connection with Homicide also. Homicide being BCC adjacent is a great fit.

 
I've seen a few Canadians on Twitter and Reddit responding to the low ticket sales for Collision while Dynamite is still selling there stories. They all talk about how Collision still hasn't even been announced as being on TV in Canada yet and we're 2 weeks away.

Wonder if that's one of the things keeping people from buying tickets. It's kind of weird buying tickets to a TV taping that you yourself can't even watch on TV. Basically a house show for Canadians lol

I wonder if ticket sales will bump if/when a TV deal for Collision in Canada gets announced.

Is it going to be on tv in Canada? I’m pretty sure only dynamite is.

Rampage didn't have a deal in Canada until the last minute. TSN which airs Dynamite ended up getting a deal done to air Rampage on the TSN+ app. Wouldn't doubt at a minimum they get a deal done to air on the app if it don't make it on TV.

That's what I expect too, but TSN+ is like $25 or $30 a month!
 
Got a few unpredictable matchups tonight with Starks v White, OC v Swerve, and the tornado tag match.

Get front row and scream in Punks ear like I did. Rumor and innuendo he's still haunted by that encounter and may or may not have been the direct cause to the All Out Brawl
