Viewership declined significantly after Big Bill's match.

I really like Big Bill haha No jokes
He needs to team up with Archer and wreck havoc.

I haven't seen a chokeslam like that since THE GIANT!

Im a fan too. He's a serviceable big man that looks good. Not saying he should be AEW champ or anything but you need people like that on the squad.

If Big Bill ditched the jeans and got some proper attire I think he'd be a contender.

I've enjoyed him since he came to AEW, but this past week starting with Rampage seems to have done wonders for him. It is nice to see the crowd reacting to him now.

Meltzer is saying the ppv buys for Double or Nothing were around 135k. Pretty solid, but I wonder if they lost many to NXT or not.

It's weird. He said NXT made no difference. Says he expects Double or Nothing to be slightly down from Revolution then says about 130k-135k. I thought Revolution did 130k itself. Dave's numbers are always slightly off from Wrestlenomic's.

Double or Nothing last year did around 165k.

I wonder how he figured that NXT made no difference.

He keeps saying there is little to no crossover between the audiences but doesn't really say how he came to that conclusion.
Surely the boost of around 200k fans AEW got when NXT moved nights contradicts that

If Double or Nothing did those solid numbers, Forbidden Door is probably going to do really well (175K). With the return of Punk, the momentum of Collision and the return of the NJPW guys and the possible debut of Ibushi shortly.

Will be interesting. DoN was down about 20% if that 130/135k number sticks (was about 165k last year). FD did about 140k last year. I kind of get the feeling Punk won't be working a match at FD this year since he's coming in so close to the show.

Meltzer gave Jericho vs Cole ***1/4. How is that even possible? It has a 3.73 out of TEN on cagematch. Reinder that Rock vs Hogan got ***.

The fix is in.
He also gave Hayter v Storm *1/4 stars lmao

Also having Punk on the show doesn't automatically mean PPV buys. All Out last year was headlined by Punk and did around the same as Double or Nothing just now
