AEW AEW LIX: Japan is All Atlantic

Adderal Cole has been underwhelming since his arrival in AEW.

It seems he cooled off a bit in the past few months, I hope he lights a fire under his ass and gets going again because he is one of the best when he is on the ball.
 
He's supposedly been working injured with a broken vagina.

Nah I love Cole when he's on, his end of roh and nxt run was brilliant.

He's supposedly got a torn labrum to a degree. Could explain the weight loss too. I hurt my shoulder and tricep two weeks ago ego lifting and it sucks and hurts to do any push exercises. I nearly collapsed a week ago doing push ups when my arm and shoulder locked
 
Apparently Britt Baker has been liking fans tweets about Thunder Rosa sandbagging Marina Shafir last week <Lmaoo>

The subtle shade throughout AEW is hilarious. Feels like a ton of people dislike each other there.

Thinking back to that match though, I'm glad Shafir didn't put up with that shit and straight bullied Thunder Rosa and forced her to work. I haven't been a fan of Shafir in AEW so far, but that match has me turning around on her, glad she wouldn't let anyone fuck with her in the ring.
 
Can't wait to see the Kenny Omega vs Jay White match
 
Hopefully the Ace comes away with W, I don’t like the idea of him debuting to lose, a continued AEW/NJPW thing would get me watching again, and guys like him shouldn’t be very “beatable” for sake of more super matches down the road.

That shit was really unprofessional and I was pretty shocked to see it. Especially after the shit Ivelisse got. Shafir would have fucked Rosa up as well if she wanted to so not exactly a smart move by Rosa.

In a way I'm kinda glad he's injured because I was worried he was just being lazy now he's in a promotion with his friends.

I'd agree if he wasn't supposed to be facing Punk or Moxley. Those are two of the most protected guys in AEW and Tanahashi is at the point in his career where he probably should be losing those matches. That being said there's gonna be a lot of NJPW guys winning as well I bet. I don't see Ospreay or Jay White losing and those are the guys NJPW needs to protect at this event. Young guys who are some of the best wrestlers in the world

And even if Tanahashi does beat Moxley, he is losing to Punk when he gets back.

Also seems unlikely he will beat Mox, as he will probably be right back in Japan after promoting for the G1, and I doubt AEW wants to do the WWE thing and not have a champ present at all.

On night four of the New Japan Road tour, there will be two matches. Tomohiro Ishii will battle Yoshinobu Kanemaru while Clark Connors faces Tomoaki Honma. The winners of those matches will face each other on night five. The winner of that moves onto Forbidden Door.

As for the AEW side, there are two qualifying matches left: Miro vs. Ethan Page and Penta Oscuro vs. Malakai Black."

So Ishii. Ishii will be in the final four with PAC.

I'm not disappointed by it by any means, just wish it wasn't so obvious.
