Nah. If I'm paying $50 a PPV I want my fill. I actually like wrestling so sitting in the comfort of my own home for 4 hours(not including pre show) watching it isnt a big deal especially when the majority of AEW's PPVs have all been really good. I like to get my money's worth. I know there has been criticism for AEW's PPV runtime but to me it's weird. Its really not that hard to chill out and sit on your ass for 4 hours and enjoy some wrestling with some food and whatnot. No one is forcing them to do it. But leave it to wrestling fans to even complain about that

If it was all worth the time I would agree, but its just not. Quality of quantity. Though I agree, if I was paying 50 bucks for a WWE ple I would be pissed.

But I don't pay for AEW ppvs, so it is not a big deal.

One thing I miss about ECW PPVs that I really wish more companies would do is have 2-3 unannounced matches/big segments. It kept the fans guessing and could lead to some really great spontaneous moments that aren't always possible to script. With WWE putting fewer announced matches on the card, I think it could really help keep things fresh and feel less predictable.

On the other side of that coin, I'm a big fan of the Japanese PW/MMA "New Years Eve"-style shows, where it's multiple hours long with a huge variety of matches and segments. I don't think that's sustainable to do for every single PPV/PLE, though. 2-3 "Supershow"-style events a year tops, I'd say, is the sweet spot.

Then again, I'm with @Sycho Sid, there's no way in hell I'd pay $50 for a PPV these days even if things weren't tight. MAYBE for a two-day event like 'Mania or a similar Supershow.
