AEW has been doing some cool shots like that. They did the same with Yuta in Sacramento at that old timey lookin arena that my son wrestled in.

Last night's show was one of the best Dynamite's of all-time. The promotion's product is dramatically better than where it was even 4-5 months ago. Its been pretty great since January.

Good for them, they figured out their issues.

Holy hell, this week's Dynamite was incredible. I won't say "we're back" juuuust yet - but AEW are getting there. They've been mostly good now in 2025. There's a change in the air in the wrestling world I think. AEW are putting in the work and making the necessary changes - and now we are starting to see things bloom. Love it!

Mercedes vs Athena was very good. Not sure what's next for Athena, or if there'll be a second - but they killed it here. Match flew by too.

Josh Alexander is it? I'm sure being with Don's group will be some good for him. He doesn't scream big star. Even that Speedball guy has some kind of oddball charisma. Match was fine.

I assume Nick will be a ROH champ soon. Good to see Christian back.

FTR have been fined. OK then.

Tag title match was largely there. Highlight was MVP cackling after Bobby sent one of the guys over the announcer table.

MJF segment was something. My goodness, those ladies. There was one that caught my eye.

Ospreay vs Take was very, very good. I was pretty sure Ospreay was winning, but they got me on some of those near falls. Great stuff.

Main event was good! Hobbs is a very good fit with Joe and Shibata. So much more than Hook. And new - thank fuck. Great ending to a fantastic show.

Honestly if someone watched this Dynamite and didn't like it, I'd just give up on AEW as it clearly isn't for them....and that is ok. Like I gave WWE another go last Wrestlemania and hated it while WWE fans seemed to get exactly what they wanted, so why bother? This is the kind of show that shows what AEW is all about when it clicks, so if you didn't like it then it really isn't for you.

Obviously Takeshita vs Ospreay was an all timer, have to start there. Womens match was great too. The Owen and The C2 really are staples of AEW at this point and I hope they never leave.

Crowd was superb. Venue was superb. Hell even the deathriders storyline clicked with them getting some comeuppance.

Camera work has massively improved too. AEW prone to missing spots and using too many camera cuts but they slowed it right down at points in Ospreay vs Takeshita especially and it was great. Neither man gave a flying fuck about trying to find the hard cam, the shots found them.

Hobbs was the perfect choice to replace Hook and I actually prefer it. Shibata has an AEW belt and so does Joe again.

Count me in on greatly enjoying Dynamite last night. Just about everything clicked and it flew by in a good way. All the tournament matches were great, really hoping we get more Athena in the upper to main event scene. They really gotta give Ospreay the win and give him the big moment at All In, he's forever on fire in the ring and with the crowd, strap the rocket to him.

Putting Josh Alexander with DC is a solid move instead of just happy to be here new debuting wrestler. I actually liked his main event run in TNA for the most part, his win felt like a big deal and when he lost his title the way they did it showed he can do some character work. Already hyped to see him take on anyone at Forbidden Door, he has a tag match with Big Take Saturday so he's gonna get shine very quick.
