I like Hobbs but he may just be a mid card guy. Nothing wrong with that. He had a run with the TNT title so he's had opportunities. He's a bit limited in the ring, not exactly an AEW wrestler. Say what you will about AEW but the majority of their top champs have all been good workers.

Cody Rhodes has taught me to never assume someone's ceiling.

But I think Hobbs is in a good place. Consistently used, over with the fans, most wrestlers should be so lucky

I like Hobbs in the place he's in now. A fun spot in the mid card of shows. Get some "meat" chants when he slaps meat with other big guys. Doesn't need to be a top guy. It's ok to have fun guys in the mid card people can cheer for. He might still develop further, but as of right now he shouldn't really be a featured top guy.

Anything is possible. Cody Rhodes had a lot going for him that Hobbs doesn't, though. We'll see what happens. He's on TV getting exposure. That is a good place.
