AEW AEW CXXXIII: Road To Revolution

We talked about it in the main PWD thread a few days ago about how the shows are still good match shows, but I'm struggling to be invested in most of the stories and to add to it the show I went to live a couple weeks back kind of grinded my gears.

I haven't really said much about that double taping I went to a couple weeks back. I was actually pretty annoyed leaving the venue that night, but tried to stay positive talking about the show after. To be honest, the theater venue and the hot crowd made the show and is what made it an overall good time, not the actual shows themselves. Dynamite in person was actual garbage that night in person. Collision being a "banger match" show really saved the entire night, even if I didn't give a fuck about any of the "banger" matches.

I've gone to AEW's February shows here 3 years in a row, first year sucked, 2nd year was great, and now 3rd year kind of sucked. Guess I just feel burned out from already not enjoying the product as much, but feeling like I absolutely wasted hundreds of dollars on AEW tickets yet again to top it off doesn't feel great. 2 out of 3 times now I feel like it wasn't worth it to buy tickets to the show lol

Imagine how you'd feel spending hundreds of dollars and your main event is Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong <lmao>

Two years ago they gave me fucking Evil Uno in the main event <lol>
Shit like this is why they had their lowest rating ever!

I've seen an idea of what might happen on Twitter for Cope/Mox. Cope wins, Christian comes out to cash in - but then - Jay White turns on Edge, BUT also wipes out Christian and *he* signs the contract. And new, Jay White.

I had actually completely forgotten about the signing the contract bit.

To me, I just want the belt off Mox and the Death Riders done with. I almost don't even care if it happens via the above clusterfuck. Get the belt off Mox one way or another. I'll even take Jay White as champ and I am not exactly his biggest fan.

I remember Darby was heavily rumored as the person that was supposed stand tall over the DR but of course his hobbies pulled him away.

While Cope winning would hopefully end the story for now, id still rather see a younger talent get shine as that was the original path they were on.

Good crowd incoming for Revolution. WrestleTix has the count at 9,652 recently and that doesn't even include the suites.

I'm not really a big fan of losing streak gimmicks, especially when he is getting dominated. He is funny doing it, but it only works for so long.
Funnily enough one of the people who initially trained him was Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins
