Eh, I didnt like the 1 kickout. A 2 9/10 would have been better and just as effective
-"so hulk we got this new kid Hook. we were thinking maybe he kicks out of the leg drop at 1. really get a push going for him."
-"hmmm, yeah thats not gonna work for me brother"

Good to know that one of the most devestating moves in the business, that literally ended a man's career, means nothing against Hook.

The match was good, but that kick out at one, and the post match stuff was dumb

I do like that they are building toward the PPV already though, that is a step in the right direction.

I didn't care for it either. Hook should look tough but some of the stuff got a bit hokey. The visual of a 300 pound man brutally beating a 160 pound up and comer and him kicking out at 1 and the post match stuff was off. That stuff should be for a Powerhouse Hobbs or someone Joe was in a long term storyline with where it made sense. I still thought the match was good, though.

That was an excellent dynamite

-Christian/Dustin was very good and Dustin's 2nd best match in AEW. They need to have Dustin finally win one though.
-Swerve is "The Guy" for this company, its just a matter of when.
-The Briscoe segment was great, Tony always thinks outside the box when it comes to these tributes. Probably because he actually cares unlike WWE, which wouldn't even have celebrated a year anniversary of a death.
- Douche Bag Young Bucks are back, thank god. Put the tag titles back on them, lead them to a big feud again with FTR for Wembley. This time the bucks win.
- Babyface Jay White was kind of weird, but worked. Hopefully the ROH and AEW Trios titles are merged at Revolution.
- Toni Storm was unhinged on commentary, She does talk over her segments completely, but hey...the other performer needs to raise her game. I'm guessing Deonna and Toni will have a very good match, but the result will never be in doubt
- Joe/Hook was excellent and did its job perfectly, which was shining Hook up and giving Joe a title retain.

Guys I’m not sure how I feel about hook having to be rescued by hangman.
