Dude has been one of the best allaround MCs in the world for years. This shit is dope af

Nice, sounds like he's picking up where Skelethon left off.

Gonna check this now.

could never get into him, hard to understand some of his metaphors and rhyme patterns get repetitive. Still a really good artist though.

Lol, well I suppose I've been listening to Aesop Rock for at least 11 years as indicated by this shitty pic taken with a flip phone 11 years ago at a concert. I'll have to check this album out later, I don't get a chance to listen to new stuff from my favorite old UG hip hop guys much anymore.

Thanks TS. Will definitely be checking this one out.

I still remember when appleseed and music for earthworms came out. Those were 2 of my favorite hip hop albums of all time. That stuff was completely up my alley. I loved those albums so much they made me a life long aesop fan, despite not really loving any of his albums since. They all had great tracks, but nothing compares to those early ones.

I will definitely check this one out though. Looking forward to listening to it!

Sucks A$AP Rocky kind of stole his name and got more famous. I try to tell monicas about this dude and they're like yeah that dude that the I Got A Fucking Problem song... then they correct me. Hard enough for Jewish brothers to make it in the hip hop game and then you brothers stealing their rap names... sad!

I liked his recent collaboration with Homeboy Sandman on a short mixtape.

Aesop Rock? I mean, he was good a decade ago, usually in that time span rappers either fall off hard or become dated. But probably check this out later if i'm bored

About halfway through and loving it so far. It seems like Aesop produced the entire album? The beats here are amazing

Really enjoying this album.

Lotta years is great

And I'm absolutely fascinated with get out of the car. I've been listening to it on repeat for like an hour. I'd like to know the story behind it. Definitely my favorite track on the album.

I haven't really been down with Aes since the Def Jux heyday, but seems like he's stayed solid judging by this album.

Solid album. However, nothing is going to come close to Labor Days for me. I do enjoy him opening up a bit more and allowing you to get a personal take on him easier in his songs.

His production has improved significantly as well, though I miss Aesop on a Blockhead track. I'm enjoying this much more than Skelethon.

All that said, I can't label it a classic.

Yeah, he did. He gave an interview stating that these albums are incredibly important and personal to him, so he has to do everything in the album. It's how he's currently operating.

Listening to this shit makes Bazooka Tooth look like grade school.

Random, but I was listening to El-P's wereallgonnaburninhellmegamixx 2 the other night, and no matter how much I love RTJ and think RTJ2 is nearly perfect, while "Angel Duster" might be the best song El has ever produced...

I realized I miss that paranoid science fiction shit. Def Jux eternal.

Can Cage make a good album? C'mon man... Hell's Winter is a 5/5...

I'm ranting.

That video was a shot-for-shot remake of Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" using small figurines.

Good album, no bad tracks. Some really good ones.

Standout tracks: Rings, Rabies, Supercell, Get Out Of The Car.

I've always liked his Blockhead produced tracks the best. These are really good though.
