Ads on Main Card confirmed - No surprise

Are there any legit complaints or just a bunch of bitching? This forum sounds like a bunch of old ladies sometimes.

Who gives a fuck about adds when the fights aren't on? It isn't like adds during a TV show when you get stopped during the good part. Who wants to hear Rogan and DC spouting their half-baked nonsense?

Back before most of you were around, boxing was on regular TV (no PPV or Showtime/HBO until the early to mid 80s, I watched Ali/Holmes/Leonard on regular TV), and there were adds between rounds- but nobody ever gave a shit because the fight wasn't on.

The Paramount thing is a MUCH better deal than having to buy UFC Pass for old fights and expensive PPVs for the better fights. The functionality actually is much better than ESPN+ also. You couldn't fast forward or rewind to parts on ESPN+ because the screen would go blurry. FFW and RWD work much better on Paramount plus.

Oh, I KNOW you are watching ALL the fights. You just obviously weren't paying for them. Having advertisers foot the majority of the cost of viewership is a major win for folks that actually bought the ppv's.

I expect ads during live broadcast. At least between fights or 2x 30 sec ads between corner

But for PLE main cards I want walkouts and fights uninterrupted. I dont think THATS too much to ask

Trailers and ads are expected between fights on PLE main cards but if they replace walkouts or even between rounds the vibe of these main cards will be ruined. Just recall Peireira vs Ank 2. Ads wouldve ruined the walkouts, buildup, announcements everything.

Main cards for PLE ESPECIALLY main event are meant to be witnessed throughout, its cathartic. Sell your bullshit between fights, on the undercard, etc

I tapped out of Landman somewhere around episode 4 of season 1. Has such high hopes as BBT is an absolute legend but god that writing was such a letdown. I'll let Billy off as it'll be a huge paycheck, but he should stick to writing and directing his own stuff
