I kinda understand the reason the UFC removed the stomps, kicks, and knees to a downed fighter to get the Unified MMA Rule Set sanctioned during the human cockfighting era, but there’s a complete irony to it. Dana fiercely dislikes wrestlers who dominate on the ground without finishing, the rule set that the UFC presented and got approved allows those types of fighters to successfully employ that type of game plan without consequence... its kinda hilarious to be honest
