How any times have we seen a fighter continue to hit his opponent after he goes out? People just want to criticize Hendo for it because they don't like the guy. Off the top of my head, these are some fights where one fighter continued to hit his opponent after he was out:

Stipe against Werdum
Weidman against Munoz
Weidman against Silva
Cruz against Mizugaki
Garbrandt against Almeida
Machida against Bader
Vitor against alot of people
Condit against DHK
Bisping against Rockhold
Conor against Aldo

It's funny that people want to say that Hendo is the one who gets a pass for this, when in reality he is essentially the only one who gets crap for it while none of those other guys mentioned get any type of flak. I won't speak on whether the shots are right or wrong but people definitely need to be consistent in their outrage and not be hypocrites. It seems that it's only a problem when Dan does it and not any other fighter. Then people want to clamored it to Palhares as if it's even remotely the same thing. I really don't get it.

Hendo can do whatever the fuck he wants, imo.

Hendo is Native American.

Doesn't surprise me that Sherdog, who is full of Americans, is against him.

They need to learn from the best.

Idk he seems like a normal cool dude but he has some super fucked behavior once he sees a defensless opponent. I don't fight, but he must know what he's doing when he fucking klobbers a guy who's obviously beaten.

As should every other fighter who does the exact same thing.

Conor's hammerfists against Aldo is literally nothing like a diving H-bomb lmao

When did he hit somebody after the ref stopped him though?

Hendo gets a pass all the time..

It's usually people asking why Hendo gets a pass, not this...

He knows exactly what he is doing. He has even said as much.

I agree. Dude to be fair, Dan does that shit quite a bit more than other fighters.

And these other guys don't? Give me a break.

To be fair, Dan does that shit to like every person he can. Kinda polarizing.

Has he done it to anyone other than Bisping & Lombard?

I thought the ref stops the fight, not the fighter. In which case, until the ref stops the fight, he's supposed to keep fighting.

Am I wrong?

Elaborate.
Most of them are either a) guys not fully out and they keep going to finish the job, or 2) relatively light punches without a stop of momentum. I don't have a problem with fighters going untill the job is done. I don't have a big problem with what Henderson does either, but it's different. The job is done, they are out cold without any doubt. He then sees it, and launches himself in the air to hit an unconscious opponent with huge shots. He's even said in interviews that he knows it and he does this deliberately. The fight is over without a doubt before he does it.

That's the main difference in most of the examples. I'm sure there are other fighters who like to punch someone who's out though.
