If I recall, Mike's face tat was symbolic in his recent conversion to Islam, during his prison tenure. Mike is truly pioneering in this way - talking bout' face tats ONLY

Conversely Adesanya's tattoo looks more Aramaic in it's style, and with him being a broken native and all, one might assume it to be an Israeli (his first name too boot) Jewish influenced (?)

I'm gonna be completely honest I just rewatched the first fight and to me it looked like Alex just had Izzy's number and knew it. He looked like he was chillin conserving his energy and when he did finally turn it on and started stalking Izzy down against the cage and just throwing bomb after bomb he just destroyed him almost instantly.

Pretty much this.

Israel Adesanya is very fast. He can "stun" Pereira but not dropping.

Basically, Pereira had to deal with the speed, slow Adesanya down, then go in for the kill.

In a firefight, Adesanya has zero chance against Pereira. Izzy has neither the balls, nor the punch, of Alex.

Pereira has no problem going toe-to-toe. Israel wants to "throw a few" — and then run.

Once Izzy can't run anymore, and once he gets clipped, he's no longer even fighting Alex; he's just trying to hold on for dear life.

Alex Pereira never stops actually fighting.
