From his kickboxing record he doesnt seem to have taken a whole lot of damage. So hes got low MMA miles on him.

You'll see the reason why Conor is obsessed if you watch the Alvarez prefight interviews (Conor flattened Alvarez good in the actual fight though FWIW). Izzy seems to have his head in the right place regarding what mark he wants to leave, but I think he's looking a little too high right now for someone who was in a lot of trouble from the kind of thunder KG brought. Just some thoughts.

He's 29 and just won an interim title. DC didn't hit the UFC until he was 35, and he's generally considered an ATG in this sport.

Dude still has several years left to make a mark. Of all of the criticisms against Adesanya, a guy in his late 20s being "too old" for heavier weight class MMA is probably the worst one.
