They set up most of their life around giving their children better options in life including the original move to NZ for schooling.

They moved to a new country to get their children a better education.

Yeah in comparison he was pretty well off to the abject poverty in Nigeria. I have friends from a similar background in South Africa.

People like to say he was a rich kid initially, but his parents just seem to be good with money. His whole family are in good stable careers, but nothing outstanding to indicate giant amounts of wealth.
