Fuck yeah. This about does it for what I was most speculating

Didn't realize Nick Diaz, Glover, and Clay fought there! I knew Nate did but he just retired

As for Dustin... I was pretty sure he fought there. I definitely knew Josh Grispi fought there and that was my first exposure to DP

Now a moment for retired WEC fighters...

Jose Aldo
Nate Diaz
Donald Cerrone
Carlos Condit
Brian Stann
Steve Cantwell
Paulo Filho
Jamie Varner
Brian Bowles
Josh Grispi
Diego Nunes
Chael Sonnen
Miguel Torres
George Roop
"Razor" Rob McCullough
Dan Miller

With the sad news of Aldo retiring it seems like we are down to slim pickings

UFC:
Rani Yahya
Korean Zombie

Other organizations:
Anthony Pettis
Benson Henderson

Am I forgetting anyone?

Brunson fought in strike force, that is not the same but close enough.

Raphael Assuncao is still going. He's supposed to fight Victor Henry in October.
Dustin Poirier.
Korean Zombie.
Clay Guida.
Don't hate on Glover Teixeira, either. He's a WEC vet, went 3-0 in the company beating Sokoudjou.
Nate Diaz was 3-1 in WEC. He might still fight.
Mighty Mouse is over in ONE Championship still. Don't forget him.
Brandon Vera also still going in ONE.
Glover Teixeira went 3-1 in WEC, he lost his first MMA fight there in 2002.

Joe Riggs is still competing in bareknuckle and don't think he has officially retired from MMA

I hope he does officially retire. Dude's had some serious back issues and I worry if he got slammed or taken down a certain way his back would be royally fucked. I know he could fall when boxing and hurt himself, but it would be better then getting picked up and slammed.

For other organisations.

Iuri Alcantara recently fought and lost in a Croatian promotion so he's still going.

Renan Barao is signed to Eagle FC I think

Francisco Rivera Jr still turns up in various places.

Don't think Guida ever fought in WEC. Otherwise good list.

Edit: Oh sure as shit he had one fight there. Good call!

T .S low key trying to get sherdog to give him W.E.C fighters so he can go watch their W.E.C fights..

I see you brah...

Steve Cantwell
Paulo Filho
Jamie Varner

Jamie Varner was a hell of a fighter, but he struggled putting it all together consistently. Underrated imo.

Could've had a good UFC career too. Destroyed Barboza and almost beat Tibau which are 2 insanely difficult styles to overcome.
With his style guys at the Lauzon level were always going to sneak in wins though, at his best he seemed to have amazing wrestling and great hands. At his worst he was getting caught by Abel Truijilo and a Drew Dober who had no power or wrestling.
