Who is the active fighter with the longest current ufc Tenure? i think is diego sanchez, he is in UFC since April 2005 (13 years)

Tibau has been around since 2006, crazy that after 12 years he's never really got to a higher level

GSP since january 2004.

14 years.

Was champion 4 months ago. Wrap your mind around that.

Bisping seems like he's been around forever

Vitor was there in the SEG days. Pretty sure he wins.

I think it's Vitor, he's been with the UFC since the 90's.

Until Vitor goes away, no one is touching that tenure.

Vitor beat Tra Telligman at UFC 12.....Feb 07, 1997. lol

If we don't include guys who left the UFC to fight elsewhere, retired, etc., the answer is Diego Sanchez, with a debut date of 4/9/2005.

Sidenote: Joe Rogan also made his debut with the company on this same card in 1997 but as a backstage interviewer.

You're right. Forgot about that.

He's been in the UFC since february of 1997.

That's crazy.

That's longer than some people on this forum have been alive.

But he has been in Pride and Affliction during that period so I don't think it should count.

It should count if it was at times when those promotions were level with the ufc in terms of competition. And more specifically, the individuals he fought.

Getting sent to wsof like rumble and arlovski is a different story.

Vitor has wins 20 years apart.

Thats some longevity, i still remember when he put a vag in Marvin Eastmans head

I BJ still "active"?
