Academy Award Winning Actors And Actresses Jumping To Be In Marvel And DC Universe Movies

Well if you want to be in a new Marvel movie you best have won an Oscar or been a runner up. It looks like all you need now an Oscar and really no need to look like the actor you been cast for in the Movie. You just have to be around the right age and have won or been nominated for an Oscar now. Lets see how well that is working out well Ben Affleck now Brie Larson jumps on the train towards Marvel studios. I think Guardians of the Galaxy went without a string of Oscar winners and did pretty well and of course the man himself Deadpool has no oscars to his credit and did pretty well.

I don't know the record for oscar winners outside of a few of them has been less then stellar. Brie Larson is an amazing actress but she sure does not look the part first off she is like 4 inches shorter then Carol Danvers in the comics. Top it off she is like at least 5 to 7 years younger then Carol. Of course look at Batman with Ben Afflick great actor but his first effort had a lot to be desired.

No doubt she is an attractive woman but so is most of Hollywood. But look at X-Men with Jennifer Lawrence. A very attractive woman but her efforts have not equated to great movie franchises.

Yes in some cases but not Marvel movies or DC films. In most cases they take relatively no names and put them into these franchise films. Examples Spider-man, Superman, even though she has done past work she is not oscar nominated Wonder Woman, Guardians Of The Galaxy actors though some have names no one has oscars. I think the idea of having an oscar winner or nominated actors is clouding the judgement of producers.

The queen of indie Chloe Sevigny has stayed true to her roots and not done many if any big Hollywood movies.

I understand your point but there are a lot of people in fact most find her very attractive. I will say I do but more for her personality and she seems pretty down to earth at least from her interviews I am sure she likely a nightmare to work with who knows.

Meh. Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jackman and Nicholas Hoult made the First Class and DOFP movies work. J-Law could have been replaced by anyone and it wouldn't have affected the movie.

The primary reason most movies suck is directly because of poor casting based on looks. So rather than whine that she doesn't have the exact size tits you want in a captain marvel, be grateful they casted such a high level actress for it.

A perfect example is gal gadot as wonder woman. Gorgeous woman, has the right look for the part, but can't act for shit. She made Ben affeck look awesome she was so bad. Same with Henry cavill as superman - huge dude, has the perfect look. Can't act for shit and is the most blah superman ever.

So take your pick. If you just want to stare at hot ass, watch some porn. Me, I want people who can act.

Did you miss my post they have tried good actors in the past but had very checkered luck with them. I gave examples of films that worked very well with lesser known actors. I just gave the example about fitting the part not just about the breasts and ass but that always helps. Back to reality I have seen some very good action films without major names and play a ton better then films with oscar winners tied to it.
