For the life of me I have no idea why anyone even bothers going for leg attacks, especially heelhooks and kneebars, on Cobrinha.

I was more referring to Faria conceding to Cobrinha, which I think is bullshit if it wasn't actually Faria's call. Yes, Cobrinha is the senior rank, but there is prize money on the line and Bernardo put a lot of hard work into training for this comp. As awesome as it is to see Cobrinha compete again, he just dropped in on a whim for the World Pro.

Bowing out to "teammates" (aka some guy from an affilate school you've never met/trained with) happens a lot at the lower belts and it's crap, especially at a major comp you invested months of training and hundreds of dollars into.

He's made of Stretch Armstrong material...

Not only is he ludicrously flexible, conditioned like a machine, and in possession of an insane pain tolerance, but Cobrinha doesn't have any meniscus in one knee and both his ACLs are detatched. Unless his opponent manages to rip out all his tendons there's pretty much nothing for them to attack with those submissions.

Pretty sure Neto is rooted with Gordo. He usually reps AB MMA when he competes now. Thanks for helping me on the loop choke in the mat room. =)

Kit made it to the finals, De got beat in the No-Gi by DJ Jackson in the final.
I don't know who he is facing in the finals, but good luck to him to bring home the Gold for us Aussies.
