I think he has partial a dutch style thaiboxing background, like the old european fighters from K-1... because he trained with Kamal El Amrani who fought in K-1 Max in the past. Kamal El Amrani is a positive guy who shows many interest to his students and is a known K-1 trainer in Germany... Kamal El Amrani trained with old K-1 Fighters like Stefan Leko and Peter Aerts together.

Abu Azaitar fight style so far (for me)

-kind of a brawler who likes the clinch and knees..
-has heavy hands
-he is not a clean and accurate striker like a gökhan saki for example, he is more a brawler guy who tries to rush his opponent down with pressure and many strikes. vitor belfort style
-likes to combo with his hands to confuse and get the overhand. he likes the hook and the right overhand.

Pretty good striker, so is Vitor Miranda (his opponent), who also fought in K1 and against legit competition, so it should be a good and competitive fight. Miranda is bigger, being a former heavyweight in kickboxing, and has never been KO'd IIRC, so i don't see a finish being very likely, probably a good stand up fight where Azaitar takes it due to a speed advantage, having better cardio and being more active.


I haven't seen enough footage of him to know about his ceiling, but looks like a small middleweight. These guys below are all lightweights, so i would say he fits better at 170.

the reason why germany doesnt have many good mma fighters is, that germany is to wealthy and wealthy people doesnt go the dirty way and try to make career as a cage fighter.

also germany is conquered by feminism. the mans there are very soft now. the females there are mostly the better fighters now.
