Yeah unfortunately if something dumb is said from Golovkin's team it's definitely going to be Abel. I don't know how much say in things he really has though. Hopefully GGG and Canelo can fight and then move on from each oher after.

As for Wade I remember Golovkin wanted Canelo after his fight with Cotto but he wasn't ready to move yet. Then they wanted Saunders but he turned it down. Then the IBF ordered him to fight Tureano Johnson but he got injured and then Wade was next on the IBF list. It's not like they were calling him out.

Golovkin isn't ducking anyone yet, but Sanchez constantly does everything in his power to make Golovkin look bad. Charlo would probably be the 3rd best opponent of Golovkin's career. This whole "he needs to achieve more" is the exact same shit that MWs used to duck Golovkin when he was coming up. Sanchez shouldn't have said anything.

Yeah I feel like its usually a coach or promoter that does the trash talking with boxers. Maybe it helps in the long run with keeping attention on them or something or maybe it's just easier to be cocky when you're not the one getting punched in the face lol.

GGG has fought his entire career @ MW. Dom Wade was an 18-0 MW that fought his entire career @ Super middle and MW.

If you expect to move up a weight class and get an immediate title shot, you've got to bring something to the table. For example, if Jermall had unified at Jr Middle he'd have a case to leapfrog the division to a title shot. As it stands, I don't think fighting Jermall is worth anything to Golovkin financially, or in terms of legacy.

Jermall could have fought Hurd or Munguia @ JMW, but for whatever reason, he elected not to go that route.

That said, if Jermall is the mandatory, GGG will fight him.
