Kind of baffling how my statement led to confusion even though i not only made abundantly clear i was talking about the 19th century but even clarified that without that specific paramenter, i would put Gotch above Lewis.You cannot be the best wrestlers of the 19th century unless you were the best wrestlers during the 19th century.
You know what happens if you ignore Gotch and Hackenschmidt when you talk about 19th century wrestlers? Nothing...they achieved their success in the 20th century.

Okay. Let's yell at each other about something else.When somebody was born in 1877 how can they not be 19th century? Both Gotch and Hack were pro wrestlers prior to 1900. Which I was well aware of.
No big deal, moving on.

I would certainly take Perfect over a pro wrestler from the 1950's-60's named Pepper Gomez.First off it would have to be....Curt Hennig and he can't bump Chris Jericho.
I wouldn't. Gomez was huge, big name!I would certainly take Perfect over a pro wrestler from the 1950's-60's named Pepper Gomez.

I'm going with Eddie Guerrero just to be contrarianIn my opinion, E should be neither Edouard Carpentier nor El Santo but the original Strangler Lewis.
B=Bret Hart
G=(Eddie) Guerrero
P=(Mr.) Perfect
W=(Ultimate) Warrior
Booker T
Greg valentine
Paul orndorff
William regal
I'm going with Eddie Guerrero because he was a top ten all time great. I have a buddy who lived in California when he was champion and he said Eddie was like an icon to so many Mexican/Americans out there.I'm going with Eddie Guerrero just to be contrarian
Enzo Dickweed has almost 500 posts in a month, mostly full of him spouting the same old names while calling others boy, son, or making some other half-assed condescending remark.
I'm a little surprised he'd have that much time to post between bitching at kids to get off his grass, and inflating war stories at his local American Legion.
Mike Enos?Lol at people arguing over the E slot while ignoring, and dare I say doubting, the obvious serious professional that should be included.
Mike Enos?
