Abandoned city

Cool, I watched the new BHC movie, wasn't bad.
taggert died a bit ago.

Movie was ok, it's nostalgic seeing all those guys, that's the best part about those kinds of sequels split up by 40 years.

Yeah, I just went back and watched the first two recently. I don't think I ever watched the third, apparently it was garbage.

They still hold up. Good movies. Really good characters playing off each other.

My biggest takeaway from re-watching was... goddamn, the stripper in the titty club in BHC2 was hot as holy hell.

the one in the first is the one I'll always remember. Number 3 wasn't bad and Eddie always cracks me up even if no one else laughs, the part where Foley is approached in disneyland and told to step out of the line and he says "what line?" cracked me up, eddie is funny by accident to me.

Apparently, according to Jon Landis, Eddie wanted to be Denzel in the 3rd one and Landis also had complaints that Eddie got big headed by the time of not only BH3 but Coming to America. Eddie actually grabbed Jon's neck and choked him on the set of Coming to America. I believe it was because his wife made some comment about "these people" not showing up on time, probably true, and Eddie got pissy and choked him and claimed they'd never work together again.

I think Eddie was grasping for some sort of direction by the time of BH3 and didn't seem to know what to do as his movies were getting dogged out.

Can you squat there and take adverse possession and then legal title and then get volunteers to fix it up and make it worth money?

That sucks... us usual, probably best to not know all the bullshit that goes in in real life. Most of the people in Hollywood are probably egotistical, unlikable assholes.

Thanks, trying to figure out how to access them. Just shows up as Get Attachment but are blank. I've tried two different browsers.
Hold on. My wife sent them as google images. I will just send them direct.

Eddie probably did change but Landis is a prick, always has been. That's not to say he's wrong about things, he said Michael Jackson was "quite mad" by the time of the Black and White video shoot, he's always been pretty up front with his feelings and pretty arrogant himself. Arrogant white guys like him generally do not get on with arrogant black guys even more than they wouldn't get along with arrogant white guys.

Murphy claimed that Landis held it against him that he never showed up in court when they were trying to lock him up for killing 3 people on that movie set.

...damn, apparently there is a whole load of stuff going on that I have never heard of. I never paid much attention to Hollywood, apart from hot chicks obviously.

ya, i was and am a huge Eddie and MJ fan. Landis was great at what he did, that's the bottom line and why Eddie went back to him even after some falling outs. I still like Trading Places better than any other Murphy movie, by a country mile.

I don't remember Trading Places, favorite was always Coming To America but I have been downloading a bunch of 80's/90's/early naughties movies recently so I'll give it a watch.

Modern movies kind of suck giant balls with the odd exception of things like Godzalla -1 that I watched last night.
