Covington has zero charisma so his heel gimmick comes off as extremely forced and not witty. He has been talking shit to absolutely everyone as of late, including Jon Jones, who I think he was roommates or wrestling buddies with. Werdum beat Fedor when it was still considered a feat and bludgeoned Cain on the feet, right before strangling him in front of his 'home' fans. The guy has one of the best resumes at HW ever, so no he isn't scared to fight people his own size.

It's just that HWs don't have little man syndrome so they don't generally go around talking shit to people half their size, who they know they would never get sanctioned to compete with in this day and age. Blame it on Rockhold, Covington, and Edmund (LOL). If a smaller man, who is ALSO a professional fighter wants to play that game then what's wrong and what does he expect? I don't get why the smaller guy gets the pass for acting like a jackass while the larger guy has to take it on the chin, as at the end of the day they are both trained fighters, and should have a good understanding of how a fellow fighter will react.

Lots of wrong to go around here. While I understand what Colby is up to I personally think he's going too far and he's just not entertaining enough with it. Chael said a lot of things too, but I don' think he was as relentlessly nasty as Colby is being. As far as Werdum is concerned he needs to exercise some self-control. Yelling and screaming, pushing and shoving, I can see that. But punching a guy 50 lbs lighter than you is over the line.
