A little about IMG, the new owners of the UFC

This isnt directly related to mma but related to IMG, a part of the new UFC ownership collective

This company is huge and loaded and has its hands in alot of sporting ventures at a very very high level

I'm a big college football and NFL fan and most football fans might be familiar with IMG because of IMG academy, a world class training facility/ boarding school/ incubator for the countries top football/golf/tennis/soccer prospects



In the recent years IMG academy has been the stop for the countries best players bar none and is a respected name in those circles

If anything it should give MMA fans confidence that the new ownership is nicely poised to take ufc and mma to a much higher level

Rahm Emanuel is undoubtedly the most unpopular Mayor in Chicago history, but that has nothing to do with anything Ari Emanuel or Obama did. Ari Gold's character in Entourage is actually based on Ari Emanuel, btw.
