one said he could keep up with Usain (30m) idk about that but he is really fast.
Well... he could gain weight, but there are zero reasons for that because he is not playing an NFL.
*for NFL

That's exactly what I am on about. Soccer doesn't require their athletes to be strong and heavily muscular to be good athletes. The NFL demands a different set of capabilities. Who knows if Boateng could make it as an NFL player.
Its all on paper, but Floyd Mayweather could be one of the greatest MMA fighters ... he has everything, but who knows?
or
Bo Jackson: The kind of athlete who would be good at anything that required strength, speed, agility, balance, and hand-eye coordination.
We will probably never find out if Boateng could play for the NFL, cuz Boxing, NFL, NBA and Soccer pay good money.
Boxing and MMA are far more similar than soccer and american football. But just looking at the size of the average kicker in the NFL you can see that they don't need to be big. Loads of NFL players would never make it in soccer. Probably only the lighter guys with better endurance would have a hope of being good at soccer. And then they would need the skill to compete. Soccer skills are a lot different than what you need in the NFL. So basically different sports require different abilities. Just because someone makes a good linebacker doesn't mean they'd make a good HW boxer. Its all on paper, but Floyd Mayweather could be one of the greatest MMA fighters ... he has everything, but who knows?

Do it with pads and a helmet running to catch a ball with a 6'2 245lb linebacker coming at you who is going to smash you into pieces.
That's what A level athletes do.
They use to and people died
Do it without pads, pussy.
.
Soccer players are average around the size of a UFC WW. There is far more talent in soccer than there is in the American Football just simply because it's by far the most played sport in the world, by far. It has a much deeper talent pool to select from. And there are literally no big players who are successful at elite level soccer. It just has a different athletic requirement than American Football. Just because someone is successful in NFL or NBA doesn't mean they'd make a great HW boxer. Different sports require different aptitudes.
Virgil van Dijk
Age 27 (Born 08 Jul, 1991)
Height 6ft 4in (1.93m)
Weight 200 lb
Wow 200lbs what a giant.... point proven that people can only find 200lb soccer players and no one bigger.
Amazing. That took a while for anyone to come up with someone that big, but well done. Now compare that to the average NFL offensive lineman who are about 312. And that's average. Size just isn't needed to be a big football (soccer) player. Goalies and centre backs tend to be bigger than average because they are more physical positions where height mainly is an advantage but skill trumps everything in football which is why Messi the best player in the world is only 5'6" and 150lbs.Romelu Lukaku is 6'2, 221 lbs, according to ESPN.
