Pride / ufc era was the best time ever but even after pride died, there were lots of promotions signing top level guys and trying to compete w the UFC.

I know business wise strikeforce failed but fighter/skill level wise? 6 world champions from strikeforce won a belt in the ufc.

Thats not even counting guys like Mousasi, romero, jacare, tim kennedy, josh barnett, Gil melendez, nick diaz, miesha tate, overeem,

I hope bellator keeps taking big names from the ufc. its best for the sport

i prefer the matchups we could have seen for moose if he had stayed.......

it's better for the fighters to have options and competition for their services.

A lot of promotions have skilled fighters. I generally do believe skill for skill many promotions have fighters rivaling the UFC.

But very few them are able to become profitable businesses.

That’s what has made the UFC successful it is a well run business.

Don’t get me wrong I have my criticisms of cold-blooded and calculating nature of the UFC but your in denial or delusional if you don’t think that their methods have not proven to be effective.

I do really hope Bellator improves more and more, it is the only saving grace of Yoel's cut that he may contribute to this hopefully imo.

I enjoy a variety of promotions and have no problem with them swapping spit.

It's certainly better for the fighters.

I'm not that sure it's better for fans, even indirectly as a function of it being better for fighters.

There are advantages to having more people under one roof (for fans).

If you only watch UFC, you are a casual. Mma is a global sport. The UFC can’t have all the best fighters. It’s nearly impossible. Some will slip through the cracks. I feel bad for these casuals thinking UFC = automatically the best.

Most care about Ufc.

Just deal with it

Good for the fighters, bad for the fans.

I'd rather Rumble have just accepted a lower paycheck and fought monsters in the UFC. Now I have to watch him rematch Phil Davis or something.

Same with Romero. He should have just let the UFC slash his paycheck in half. Now he's going to fight Machida or something?

You are a casual. Nothing wrong with that. Wear it with pride. But nobody will ever respect your opinion or give a fuck what you have to say because you clearly don’t know anything about the sport.

I don't have a problem with a genuine rival organization. It's probably better for the fighters pockets. But I can't fully invest into two organizations, especially during baseball season. I'd end up being highly invested in UFC and trying to catch the fights of brand names that the other org offers.

Bellator's roster is legit. This year they signed way way way better fighters than UFC.

Archuleta > Frankie
Bruh, you're trolling at this point. Saying Moose is better than Adesanya is crazy, and I hate Adesanya, also with Lima over Usman, I also hate Usman, but he's definitely the best 170er rn
