I didn't think they could get any worse. I was proven wrong.

Thats you in the pic isnt it I agree the apartments there are getting pretty bad

I guess I should have made myself more clear. Let me rephrase my post.

Black building with a green roof
Pfft no thanks

If it's anywhere above 'bout tree fiddy then yeah, it is too damn high

people pay so much money just to be able to say, "i live in manhattan". or where i live, "i live in san francisco".

Suck it fool you are a bitter pathetic hater and zero fucks are given about anything you say. I thought that was a funny pic and made a thread about it and you crawled out of your stinking shit hole to talk bad about it because you have nothing better to do. Ironic thing is you know about some thread Ive made but neither I or most people on here even know who the fuck you are.
Hey did ya like that

i would never want to live somewhere like NY or San Fran. Way to expensive and busy

I can't lie, that picture is pretty funny.
He doesn't look very bummy, so I wonder what the story actually is, behind this pic.

You are one of the worst posters here. Your threads are consistently shitty. I would rather have a conversation with Dan Quinn about the benefits of Stevia then have to put up with another one of your horrible threads.
I'd rather not be known then the guy known to make the shittiest threads on sherdog.

Edit: Just to make it clear, that is a face to face conversation

Right, it has nothing to do with higher paying jobs in manhattan or manhattan basically being 24/7 shit to do.

of course it does. i never said it didn't. if you have the means to live there, more power to you. i live in san francisco, so i know what you get out of living here. i said what i did in order to point out that you shouldn't go out of your way and spend a lot of money to live here, if it's not conducive to you. you shouldn't pay tons of money on rent to live in those places, if you're working outside of the city, or you can barely make rent.

I could move to NYC and probably make an extra $20-$30K/year for the same job but the cost of living is so much higher that I'd effectively be taking a pay cut. Not worth it, imo.

A buddy of mine pays more in rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in sheepshead bay than I do for the mortgage on my 2500 sq/ft house on an acre and a half of land. It's not surprising that NYC is always near the top in lists of cities that people are leaving.

I used to live in brooklyn so I'm not talking out of my ass here. NYC will always have a special place in my heart but I would never live there again.

For awhile there in the Bakken boom, people in Wilistion, nd were paying more for an apartment than NYC.

We need to compare houses to see which one has a bigger house and more stuff in that said house. Youll talk shit about my house then I will talk shit about your house and we still wont get mad over it because its cool. How much did you pay down and does your mortgage company screw you in the property taxes and insurance?............See I put a question mark after that because it is a question and Im interested in what you say unlike that weirdo cat person.

If you can't afford the rent, then you should move, find a better paying job, or get a roommate. Or hustle like the druggies in south Bronx. Some of those guys make hundreds a day on the hustle...then spend it on 60 bags of heroin LOL.

For the record, when I was living in Queens I paid $800/mo for half of a house basically. It was in South Jamaica...where 50 cent is from but it was a decent area. As in, I could park my car outside with the doors unlocked while my thousand dollar bike was inside and not fear anyone breaking in.
