A great opportunity for the Karate fighters in the UFC...

If there is some legit knock outs and spinning shit, I'm in. None of this point fighting shit.

Olympic combat sports generally aren't a great watch.

Boxing, can be decent and it's better without the head-guards again. Taekwondo, usually not as good as you'd think it'd be. Judo, see Taekwondo. Wrestling, they don't really show it here so I don't know but from what I've seen it doesn't do it for me.

Hopefully the Karate is one of the better ones but unless there are British karate fighters in with a chance at a medal it won't get any coverage over here.

Would the UFC let anyone compete though? They pushed Whittaker to pull out of the wrestling in the Commonwealth Games in Aus https://www.mmamania.com/2018/4/1/1...ealth-games-ufc-threatened-to-strip-his-title

I can't believe posing is now an Olympic competition.

Isn’t kata judged at least partially on how loud they yell? I watched a little bit of some competition on ESPN years ago, and I had a serious WTF moment.

Daniel LaRusso has a better chance at a medal in the olympics than any of the UFC fighters do.
