And that repo is also an idiot.
For one, once the driver gets into the car, you have to leave it. That’s usually the law in certain states. You are not allowed to a tow a car with a person inside of it.

Buy here, pay here lots with 15-20ish year old cars are very much still a thing in any state where cars don't rust out in less than a decade if not properly winterized.
 
I was once training a new recruit at work and he came in one day and said he got another job. A Repo man (bailiff in the UK) came to his door because his brother owed a lot of money. His brother asked him to stall while he jumped out the back window and ran away. While my new recruit was stalling he managed to get a job application form and decided that was the life for him.
 
Had a former repo man in class with me when I was going to college yo be a cop 20 some odd years ago.

Dude was working in Detroit and been shot at multiple times redoing cars in the dead of night, said it was fun taking some of the sporty card back and driving the shit out em first.

I saw that was the associated charge with the police response call mentioned in the video. But I was hopeful the DA would upgrade the charge.

Not enough. Not nearly enough.

Repomen are the funniest people to pull a gun on. It doesn't phase them in the slightest and they just calmly tell you who they are and what they are doing like it's as normal as a sunny day to them. Don't even get mad about it.

They are a different sort of person.
 
Back in high school a buddy was moonlighting as a repo apprentice. Don't think it lasted long
