Um, not.

I don't consider Aljamain Sterling a "Champion" ... (his win, his rematch, and his--ahem--"title defense" against Dillishaw were all weak AF, IMO.

And now ...

Aljamain faces another midget, who's come out of retirement, and I am supposed to pay money to see this?
Um, no, don't think so.

I would never pay a penny to watch Aljamain.
I would have paid full-price to see an active Cejudo ...

But there are too many weaknesses in Sterling, and too many unknowns in (the current) Cejudo, to make it worth my while to pay money to see this.

If Cejudo wins, I will pay to see his next fight.
If Sterling wins, I still wouldn't pay a penny to watch this thespian.

Fight Night freebies only.

This topic is weaker than any of those 3 victories. Thanks for the diary entry, champ.

The topic of which fights are worth paying money is actually germane to fighting in general.

To see a person what the (ahem) "recent resume" of Sterling face a smaller man who came out of 2+ years of retirement is not worth $85.

It's a club fight, not an elite fight.

Anyone who comes out of retirement, two years with no activity, needs to prove himself.
Anyone who has the past three-fight "resume" of Aljamain needs to actually prove himself also.

Bud you could be out making money rather than making this dumb thread

I just finished an entire week of investigation activities, spanning three different states.

I am quite confident I made more money this week than you will make this month.

Taking the next three days off.

Don't forget the required ESPN + for the privilege to order PPV

So about 95$ to watch the PPV.

ESPN + is worth the money.

Lots of good "free" fights ...

To spend another $85 to watch Aljamain, just refuse to do it.

Again, I'd pay to see Cejudo, but only if I knew he was still highly competitive.

This is a Fight Night fight, not a PPV.

I mostly watch on the PC so I can participate in the PBP threads live.
ESPN+ stutters, lags or has very poor resolution. I have tried troubleshooting many times.
I can pull up a stream that will look just as good if not better than the ESPN+ official one.
For me it's not worth the price because it does not work well. That said I subscribe anyway so I can pause or rewind events
if a break needs to be taken.

Yes...the champion needs to prove himself...

you can get 14 Perla del Mar sticks with that shit

I think it's a decent card. I'd never pay 85 bucks for a pay-per-view though. My ticket for UFC Hamburg in 2016 was about that price. luckily I pay 200 bucks per year to see all UFC events in my country.
