Very true, Doctor Taco, but Maximov was most active in grappling directly before signing with the UFC, and that's what I personally was looking for.

My assumption was if he's supposed to be this top grappler that he'd be pulling off entertaining subs and such, but it never materialised.

I certainly wasn't hyping him on his MMA record, which was padded to hell as you say. I guess I was hoping to see a Roger Gracie or something emerge lol.
