Get ready for one of the longest UFC events in history. With the announcement of DC vs Jones we will have the first UFC card in history featuring three title fights. And guess what? All three will go to decision. And since they are title fights, all three are 5 round fights

DC vs Jones: guaranteed decision
Aldo vs Edgar: Two decision machines
Tate vs Nunes: With the exception of Choking Holy Miesha is a made-to-order decision fighter. She is hard to finish. They will go the distance.

Get ready for three 5x5 decisions and one of the most drawn out UFC.

But I'm not complaining. I actually like the top end of this card. Aldo vs Edgar and DC vs Jones are as high quality of fights as we can get. But the reality is these guys will largely neutralize each other and decisions will be in order.

Lots of chess being played in the octagon tonight Joe

I think Tate/Nunes is likely to end before the final bell.

But yes, expect an announcement of a 4-hr PPV card too, just in case...

You are making some sense.
I need to stop drinking.

I'm getting the feeling that you don't like the card.

So my question to you is: why are you talking about it? Why do you care?

There are 7 events before this one and close to 100 fights. Pick another card to watch.

lol imagine if Mike Golberg falls asleep during the broadcast. In his sleep he mumbles "Tito taking a book out of Chuck's chapter Joe". And Joe is just staring at him like wtf?

But your right TS, could be a long night. Especially with the pay per views, they include all the entrances too which can take forever. Sometimes you just wanna see the fights.

Its a possibility. Strikeforce Nashville had three 25 minute fights in a row and was horrible to watch. Lawal blanketed Mousasi, Melendez played it safe against Aoki, and Shields managed to blanket Hendo after getting blasted in the first.

Then the Diaz bros and the Cesar Gracie team tried to brawl with Mayhem, which was the most memorable part of the event.

Jones and DC won't be lay n pray fests, and Frankie is going to have a hard ass time taking down Aldo. Should be two exciting decisions if they end up being decisions.

Even if they are decisions the Bones/DC II and Aldo/Edgar II fights will be very entertaining imo just as the initial matches between Bones/DC and Aldo/Edgar were

I'm feeling a Frankie KO for some reason!

edit: probably cos we saw Aldo get KO'd last fight and Frankie getting a KO in his, but still :)

Damn I was just forgetting those fights
thank you :(

The real question is:

How many times will we hear 'Embrace the grind'?

87 Minutes including breaks between rounds.
