I stumbled upon more than a few videos where 2 teams of 5 would fight until nobody else on one team is left in an actual arena, in a very large cage. I'm sure some here have seen this and maybe some who have no clue they exist. Are these things real competitions??? I think they are just brutal full out beat downs (for the losing team) but with referees and ...rules?

But since Bellator is into putting on wacky fights per say. IF they ever featured anything like this on a pay-per-view how well do you think it would do?

Assuming it would be a cold day in hell when the UFC would ever touch this type of thing...

Personally I hate the idea and I dont see how would ever even be allowed in the US...this is something that would ruin the sport for sure. It is happening and people do watch crazy shit.

GTFO with that "Ruin the sport" bullshit you dweeb.

Russia, Japan, and Brazil have all done every manner of weird, gimmicky MMA and it never killed whatever semblance of a sport this shit is or was.

Isn't Rizen doing a Tag Team Grappling match or something along those lines?

I see wasteland coming to this threads future

Thanks for posting the videos or links to show what you are talking about......

TFC has been out for ages. It's great.

I hate that team mma shit. That shit looks so trashy its not even funny.

Yes, they are a joke. So is/was X-Arm, so is Jackass (literally). Just because people do something, make money off of it, and/or it is dangerous doesn't mean it isn't a joke.

Yeah I enjoy the TFC, just for something different

I can't really see it going anywhere, but its fun, circus-like and violent- much like early UFC

I don't think it's mass marketable. The only way it would sell big is if you had a team of people who would be draws one-on-one, in which case, you could fill out a whole card with their matchups.

Otherwise, it's a quirky take on MMA that has some curiosity appeal, but I don't know how much further it can go beyond that.

obviously I don't want MMA to become that, but it's fine for what it is. It's not going to hurt MMA in any way.

Well its kind of a circus show with the no name fighters, but imagine that with top lv ones.

AKA vs Jackson Wink

It could be nice and interesting in the UFC (bigger octagon).

My team would be prime Lidell, Wand, Hunt, Anthony Johnson, Badr Hari
