5 fighters released by the UFC

Cut Jim Miller too now, clearly he's not UFC caliber. And cut anyone who lost to Jim Miller cause they ain't UFC caliber either.

you think healy is good because he can win from taking banned substance? then why did he suddenly suck after that miller fight and lost back to back fights to guys that arent in the top 15.

Weed gave him the power to beat Jim Miller?

Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov (Russian: Хабиб Абдулманапович Нурмагомедов; Avar: ХIабиб НурмухIаммадов; born September 20, 1988) is a Avar Dagestani-born Russian undefeated mixed martial artist, a multiple Combat Sambo World Champion, and a Judo black belt who is currently fighting in the lightweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He currently holds one of the longest undefeated streaks in MMA with 22 straight wins and 0 losses. As of April 21, 2014, he is #4 in official UFC lightweight rankings.

Bobby Green (born September 9, 1986) is an American mixed martial artist who is currently under contract with the UFC, competing in their Lightweight division. He is the former King of the Cage Lightweight Champion and has also competed in Tachi Palace Fights, Strikeforce, and Affliction. Green has made one appearance on the MTV/MTV2 reality show Bully Beatdown.[1] As of May 26, 2014, he is #13 in official UFC lightweight rankings.

Jorge Masvidal (born November 12, 1984) is an American mixed martial artist who trains with American Top Team and at the Freestyle Fighting Academy.[3] As of May 26, 2014, Masvidal is #14 in official UFC lightweight rankings.

So he lost to a bunch of top guys who are in the top 15 and a tough veteran in Tibau. What a can that Pat Healy is.

After all, weed's known to do that.

You are a crazy person.

Sucks about Healy. He's like the Fitch of LW though so it was only a matter of time.

Damn, really bummed out about Healy but I knew it was coming.

People will be happy about Colton, be sad about Pat Healy. I mean it is the right decision I guess based on the 4 fight skid, but he's been fighting top guys and hasn't been really destroyed. If you gave him a step down in competition, I'm sure he'd be able to win.

Regarding Healy, he hasn't been destroyed but he looks terrible in there. Slow, plodding, pretty much ineffectual as he tries to grind out a win. Nothing attractive about his fights and he hasn't looked good at all lately. When a guy finds his ceiling and is only likely to get worse the longer he fights, with no sign of growth or evolution as a fighter, it's time for him to go.

"This is easy!"

Has 1-3 UFC record, 3-4 overall MMA record....

Well, easier than potentially getting shot in the face, which is what he was comparing it to, basically.

nurmagomedov was top 15, but green and masvidal weren't top 15 at the time they destroyed healy.

No surprised with Chris Indich really after losing to two guys from his season of TUF. His confirmed the release and will be looking at moving to lightweight

TUF Nations competitor Chris Indich confirms that he has been released from the UFC. Recovering from surgery at the moment and will be looking at moving to lightweight in his return to fighting.

Cutting Colton and Healy are just two more ways the UFC is becoming WWE-like entertainment.

I like how, when a former SF fighter is winning, we get threads about "who said SF fighters couldn't hang in the UFC"?

But when SF fighters go on an appalling run and get cut, nobody mentions the whole promotion vs. promotion thing.

Healy was considered a title-contender in SF. Payan also won a few in a row there.

What baffles me with Healy, is he looked good against Jim Miller and was only smoking weed....if he'd been done for roiding, you could say PED's were the reason he beasted Miller, but that's not the case.

The guy that beat Miller, hasn't shown up since.

Wow, Colton and Healy.

Worst ever TUF winner, Colton Smith.

thank god the tighty wighty ranger is gone. galera and indich were terrible, payan was fun but it was to be expected. Healy had so many tough fights and its a shame to see him go.
