Luckily you were driving a truck.
A coupe, hatch or sedan would likely be crushed by the truck. I own all three of those and am scared shitless of trucks crushing me.
Anyway, tips: when you reach a sudden stop, hit the flashing alert and hit the break pedal as many times as possible so youmake your car as noticeable as possible. Honking may help.
